Dubai Parks and Resorts:
The Dubai Parks and Resorts, announced in 2012 while construction started in 2014 with opening took place on December 18, 2016, is located at Sheikh Zayed Road, Opp, Palm Jebel Ali Dubai UAE. It has a credit of largest integrated leisure and theme park tourist place in Middle East having an area of 25 million sq. Feet. Numerous agreements have been signed in 2014 to bring Hollywood and Bollywood characters to its theme parks to increase attraction.
It comprises of three theme parks and one water park with an additional trait of more than 100 rides and attraction. In the second half of 2019, fourth theme park in Dubai Parks and Resorts has to be opened which will covers an additional area of 5.6 million sq. Feet. This additional theme park will serve the visitors with 27 extra rides and attractions.
IMG Worlds of Adventure:
When talking about world’s largest indoor amusement park, ‘IMG Worlds of Adventure’ is the name that comes to mind. It was opened on August 31, 2016 for public. While travelling to Dubai, IMG Worlds of Adventure located within City of Arabia, along Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Road, must be on the top of list ‘Places to be visited’. It can serve more than 20, 000 visitors in a day and spreads over an area more than 1.5 million sq. Feet. The park contains four themed areas or zones (Cartoon Network, Marvel, Lost Valley and IMG Boulevard), 17 themed rides, 12-screen Novo Cinema complex, 28 restaurants, 25 shops and 4,500 parking spaces. Tickets for the entry in park vary from AED 100 to AED 245 depending upon age and height.
A boat-shaped Dubai Opera, made of steel and glass, is situated within ‘The Opera District’ in Downtown Dubai at the foot of Burj Al Khalifa. It was developed by Emaar Properties while ‘Janus Rostock’ of Atkins was its designer. Dubai Opera construction was started in April 2013 and has opening on August 31, 2016. The main purpose of 1901 seat, performing arts centre is to be able to cater variety of shows and functions including theatre, opera, ballet, concerts, conferences and exhibitions. Several hotels, a retail plaza, recreational spaces and residential towers with more than 50 art galleries which host cultural events coexist within Dubai Opera.
Dubai Water Canal:
3.2 Kms long artificial water channel from Business Bay while passing through Safa Park and Jumeirah reaches Persian Gulf was given the name of Dubai Water Canal. Three bridges for traffic along with three pedestrian bridges were built along the canal. Running Tracks, sitting areas, smart lighting, shopping centre, four hotels, 450restaurents and cycle paths are the part of this project. It spreads over the total area of 80, 000 sq. Meters with private marinas for boat. It was announced on Oct. 2, 2013 and had an official opening on Nov. 9, 2016. The project costs about 3.7 billion. It is expected to attract 30 million visitors per year.
When listing Dubai’s longest-serving restaurants, Ravi has a place of its own in top ten. It is usually full with diners from all over the world. There are no white tablecloths, wine lists or snooty waiters, just honest Pakistani curry served up by friendly staff. Its menu includes chicken boti, mutton tika, daal and mutton kebab and the bread is fresh and hot. Budget required to eat here is less than 100dhs for the whole family. Ravi has been refurbished recently adding a family area but to enjoy more, it’s often more fun to sit outside or in the main area.

The Dubai Fountain is at the second number in the list of world’s largest choreographed fountain system. It is set on the 30 acre manmade BurjKhalifa Lake, exactly at the center of the Downtown Dubai. It is illuminated by more than 6,600 lights and 25 colored projectors, 902ft long and shoots water up to 500 ft along with a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. The musical collection of the fountain show includes SAMA Dubai,Baba Yetu (an award-winning song in Swahili), the Arab world’s top-selling dance number Shik Shak Shok, and the signature piece of world-renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, Con tepartiro: Time to Say Goodbye.It can spray 22,000 gallons of water in the air at any moment. Construction of the tower was carried out by Turkish conglomerate ‘TAV Construction’ while the design was proposed by ‘National Engineering Bureau’. The first 33 floors have a 5-star hotel, residential apartment till 100th floor, and a club lounge, restaurant and a Rock Shop merchandise store on 101st floor.
